where golden light touches my face
Springs of warm water flows
And scales of fishes glows
Rainbow above me
Colors too wondrous to see
Gentle fronds tickle
Toes feel the water trickle
A place where we curl up on sand
As we hold each other’s hands

But departure draws nigh
As the sea withdraws its tide
I have sorrow to hide
Without you by my side
Where skies darken
The sea burns
Trees weep for roots taken
My heart churns
That your departure nears
Leaves me Only, in my lonely tears

Yet I could see
The stars burning bright
reassuring me that we will be in each other's sight
And that my gut feeling is right
Yes, we will meet alright
